Our Legal Documents
This page has all three documents that together make up your agreement with us — the Consumer User Agreement, the Cost of Services, and our Privacy Policy — one after another. Jump straight to any of them below, or download the raw document if you'd rather read it that way.
This Consumer User Agreement (this "Agreement") is between ManTric LLC, an Indiana limited liability company ("ManTric," "we," "us," or "our"), and the individual or entity placing an order with ManTric ("you" or "Customer"). ManTric builds, repairs, and upgrades computers. You can reach us at mantric2026@yahoo.com or 1203 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, Indiana 47720.
By checking the consent box presented alongside the link to this Agreement, you agree to the following documents, in the version identified below:
If these documents conflict with one another, this Agreement controls unless the conflicting document expressly states otherwise.
By checking the box, you also confirm that:
When you submit an order, we automatically record your email address, the date and time, the version of this Agreement then in effect, and your order number. This record is our proof of your consent.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Each version carries a version number and date, shown on the cover of this document. An update applies only to orders placed after its effective date. An order you already placed remains governed by the version of this Agreement you accepted when you placed it. We encourage you to review this Agreement whenever you place a new order.
ManTric builds, repairs, and upgrades desktop and laptop computers and their internal components. This does not include game consoles, tablets, smart phones, printers, or accessories serviced independently of a computer build or repair, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
We may decline any device or order, including if a device appears unsafe, stolen, or beyond economical repair. If we decline a device after receiving it, we will return it to you at our expense and refund any payment you made for that order in full.
We do not guarantee that every problem can be resolved. If we determine after diagnosis that a device cannot be repaired, we will tell you before doing any further work and offer you the options described in Section XI.
Pricing for our services is set out in the Cost of Services document, which is part of this Agreement. Full payment is due when you place your order, before we begin labor or purchase parts for you.
Before we begin work on your device, we will send you a written estimate itemizing the cost of labor and parts separately. If, after inspecting your device, we find that additional work or parts are needed beyond your original order, we will contact you and get your approval by email, along with any additional payment, before proceeding. If you decline the additional work, we will complete only what's already authorized and paid for, or offer you the options in Section XI.
You are responsible for any sales tax or similar charge required by law. We accept credit and debit cards and other digital payment methods, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal, processed through our third-party payment provider. If a payment is reversed or disputed after we have begun work, you remain responsible for the full amount owed.
If your order requires shipping your device to us, we will provide packing instructions in a separate shipping guide.
Risk of loss or damage while your device is in transit to us is your responsibility; we recommend shipping insurance and a trackable carrier. Once your device arrives at our facility, risk of loss or damage passes to us and stays with us until your device is delivered back to you. We ship your device back using an insured, trackable method.
When your device arrives, we inspect and photograph its external condition, along with the internal components relevant to your order (such as the motherboard, memory, and storage drives), before and after we perform work. This documents the condition of your device and the work performed. We do not photograph or review your personal files or on-screen content beyond what's needed to diagnose or complete your order. We keep these photographs for the duration of the warranty period described in Section X.
If we find pre-existing damage that wasn't disclosed when you placed your order, we will notify you before proceeding.
If you believe we performed work you didn't authorize, tell us within 14 days of delivery. If we confirm unauthorized work occurred, we will correct it and issue a refund as described in Section XI.
We aim to complete labor on your device within 3 business days of its arrival and the availability of any needed parts, then ship it back to you promptly. These are estimates, not guarantees — diagnostic findings, parts availability, and carrier timelines can extend them. If we expect a significant delay, we will notify you and, where the delay is substantial, offer you the choice to keep waiting or cancel your order for a refund of any amount paid for work not yet performed.
Any repair, upgrade, or build carries some risk of data loss. Before shipping your device to us, you are responsible for backing up any data that matters to you — see our step-by-step backup guide if you're not sure how.
We take reasonable care with your device and the data on it. We will not access, copy, or delete files beyond what's reasonably necessary to diagnose or complete your order, and we treat anything we do see as confidential. If your order requires wiping or replacing a storage drive, we will get your specific consent first.
We are not liable for data loss that happens despite our reasonable care, including loss that is an inherent risk of the service you requested. We recommend removing or changing sensitive passwords before shipping your device, or giving us temporary credentials to use during service.
You will be asked to separately confirm you understand this section when you place your order.
We provide a limited warranty on the specific repair, upgrade, or build service we performed, and on the parts we supplied and installed, for 6 months from the date your device is delivered to you.
This limited warranty covers:
Parts you supply are covered by their own manufacturer's warranty, not by this one.
This limited warranty does not cover:
Tamper-evident seal. We place a tamper-evident seal over the screw needed to open your device. The seal helps us understand what happened to your device; it is not a condition of this warranty. Opening your device, upgrading it, or having it serviced by someone else does not, by itself, void this warranty. If we find the seal broken or missing, we will inspect your device, and we may deny a claim only if we find that the problem was caused by opening, modifying, or repairing the device after delivery. If we deny a claim for that reason, we will tell you why.
Virus and malware removal. When we finish a virus or malware removal, we email you a Service Report that lists each threat we found and removed and confirms that our final scans came back clean. For this service, "the original issue" means a threat listed in your Service Report. If one of those threats returns during the warranty period, we will remove it again at no charge. A new infection is not covered — one that is not listed in your Service Report, or that reached your device after we returned it, for example through a new download, email attachment, or website.
To tell a returning threat from a new infection, we compare what we find with your Service Report and check when the infected files, and any programs or downloads connected to them, first appeared on your device. By submitting a warranty claim for this service, you allow us to review your device's security logs and its program-installation and download history for that purpose only, consistent with Section IX.
How to make a warranty claim. Follow these steps:
Covered claims. If we confirm your claim is covered, we fix the covered problem at no charge to you. We pay for all labor and any parts needed, and we pay to ship your device back to you. Replacement parts will be new, or of equal or better quality and performance. We may pursue a part manufacturer's warranty on our own; that does not change what we owe you under this warranty. If we can't correct the problem, we will refund you as described in Section XI.
Claims that aren't covered. If your claim isn't covered, we will explain why before doing any work. You can then approve a paid repair at the prices in the Cost of Services document, or ask us to return your device. If you ask us to return it, the diagnostic fee applies, and it includes return shipping.
Implied warranties and your other rights. Any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last only as long as this limited warranty — 6 months from the date your device is delivered to you. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Section XV of this Agreement limits our liability for incidental and consequential damages. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
If we performed work you didn't authorize, or the service doesn't resolve the issue we were engaged to fix and we can't correct it, we will refund 100% of what you paid for that service and cover return shipping.
If you cancel an order, how much we refund depends on when you cancel:
We ship your device back to you as part of any cancellation. Refunds go to your original payment method within 10 business days of cancellation.
This section applies when we can't deliver your completed device to you, including because we don't have a valid shipping address or can't reach you.
If we can't deliver your device, we will try to contact you at least twice, by email and by [phone/other method]. If we haven't heard from you within 30 days of our first attempt, we may begin charging a storage fee of $50 per week. If we haven't heard from you within 90 days of our first attempt, we may sell or dispose of your device to recover unpaid fees and storage costs. Before doing so, we will securely erase any data on it. If we sell the device, we will apply the proceeds to the fees and storage costs you owe us, and then refund any amount left over to you.
You are responsible for:
We hold any part we remove during a repair or upgrade for at least 72 hours after notifying you that your order is complete, and will make it available for you to examine if you ask. If the part contains data, such as a hard drive or other storage device, we securely erase it before disposal. After that 72-hour window, unless you've asked to have the part returned to you, it becomes our property, and we dispose of or recycle it responsibly. To arrange for a removed part to be returned to you, contact mantric2026@yahoo.com.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages to your property or business, including lost profits or lost data, except as described in Section IX. This limitation does not apply to claims for personal injury or other physical harm. Nothing here limits any liability that can't be limited under applicable law, including for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including parts shortages, shipping carrier delays, natural disasters, or other circumstances we couldn't reasonably anticipate. We will notify you of any such delay we become aware of.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, to the extent the law allows. This doesn't limit any consumer protection you're entitled to under the law of your home state. Any dispute arising from this Agreement will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Vanderburgh County, Indiana, unless the law requires otherwise.
If any part of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. This Agreement, together with the Cost of Services document and our Privacy Policy, is the entire agreement between you and ManTric about our services. We may assign this Agreement if we sell or transfer our business; you may not assign your rights under it without our consent. We will send notices to the email address on your order. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect how this Agreement is interpreted.
Document 2 of 3
This Cost of Services document lists the prices ManTric ("we," "us," or "our") charges for its services. It's part of our Consumer User Agreement above — words defined there mean the same thing here. If this document and the Agreement conflict, the Agreement controls. Reach us at mantric2026@yahoo.com or 1203 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, Indiana 47720.
II. How Our Pricing Works
Flat rates. The price listed for each service is the full price of that service's labor, no matter how long the work takes us. Every price already includes insured, trackable return shipping to any address in the contiguous United States. Parts are the only thing billed separately — we list each one on your estimate before we buy it.
Payment. All prices are in U.S. dollars, due in full when you place your order. We accept credit and debit cards and other digital payment methods. We do not accept cash or checks.
Sales tax. Prices do not include sales tax. If it applies to your order, it's shown separately on your estimate and receipt.
More than one service. If you order more than one service for the same device on the same order, you pay the full price for the highest-priced service and $30 less for each additional service, because we only ship your device back once. This discount does not apply to diagnostics, additional parts, the add-ons below, or custom builds.
III. What Every Order Includes
Every service on this page includes the following at no extra charge:
IV. Diagnostics
Not sure what's wrong with your device? Start with a diagnostic. We test it, find the cause, and email you a written estimate for the repair.
| Service | What's included | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Diagnostic | Hardware and software testing to find the cause of the problem, followed by a written repair estimate. | $69 |
Credited toward your repair. If you approve the repair, the full $69 is subtracted from the repair price — the diagnostic costs you nothing extra.
If you don't go ahead. If you decline the repair, or we find your device can't be repaired, the $69 diagnostic is the only charge, and we ship your device back at no additional cost.
Already know which service you need? Order it directly and skip the diagnostic. The $69 diagnostic is also the diagnostic fee referred to throughout our Consumer User Agreement.
V. Software Services
| Service | What's included | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Virus & malware removal | Scanning for and removing viruses, spyware, adware, and browser hijackers; installing security updates; confirming the device is clean. You receive a Service Report listing every threat removed, which our warranty on this service is based on. | $119 |
| Windows repair or reinstall | Fixing startup errors, crashes, and blue screens. If a repair isn't possible, a clean reinstall of Windows with current drivers and updates, using your existing license. Back up your data first, or add Data Backup & Restore. | $109 |
| Tune-up & deep clean | Removing unneeded startup programs and pre-installed software, updating drivers and BIOS, cleaning dust from inside the device, replacing CPU thermal paste, and checking fans and temperatures. | $99 |
| Data recovery | Recovering deleted files, or files from a damaged partition, on a drive that still powers on and is detected. Recovered files are returned on a drive you provide or one we supply at parts cost. | $149 |
If we can't recover your data, we refund the data recovery price minus the $69 diagnostic fee. We don't currently recover data from physically damaged drives (for example, drives that click, aren't detected, or have water or fire damage) — but we can point you to a specialist.
VI. Hardware Repairs and Upgrades
| Service | What's included | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Part install/replacement, first part | Installing or replacing one internal part, such as memory (RAM), a storage drive, a graphics card, a power supply, a CPU cooler, a case fan, or a Wi-Fi card. | $89 |
| Each additional part, same order | Each additional part installed or replaced on the same order. | $29 |
| SSD upgrade with cloning | Moving your existing system, programs, and files onto a new solid-state drive so nothing needs to be reinstalled. | $119 |
| Laptop part replacement | Replacing a laptop screen, keyboard, battery, fan, or other part that isn't soldered to the motherboard. | $109 |
| Platform swap or rebuild | Moving your parts to a new motherboard and CPU, or into a new case: full teardown, reassembly, cable management, BIOS update, and stress test. | $179 |
Parts are billed separately (see Parts, below). We don't currently offer board-level (soldering) repairs.
VII. Custom PC Builds
| Service | What's included | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard build | Most ATX and Micro-ATX builds with an air cooler or an all-in-one (AIO) liquid cooler. | $229 |
| Advanced build | Small form factor (Mini-ITX) builds, extensive fan and RGB lighting setups, or systems with two graphics cards. | $279 |
| Custom liquid-cooling loop | Custom tubing and water-block loops, quoted individually — see Services Not Listed, below. | Custom quote |
Every build includes: assembly and cable management; a BIOS update and memory profile (XMP/EXPO) setup; Windows installation with current drivers (you provide the license key, or we buy a genuine license at parts cost); stress and stability testing of the CPU, GPU, and memory with temperature checks; photos of your finished build before it ships; and protective packing inside and outside the case with insured, trackable shipping.
Free parts list review. Before you buy anything, email us your parts list and we'll check it for compatibility at no charge, whether or not you order a build.
Your parts or ours. Buy your own parts and have them shipped directly to us — we'll check each one on arrival and flag anything missing or damaged. Or we can buy the parts for you (see Parts, below).
VIII. Parts
Parts we buy for you. Billed at our actual cost, including any shipping and tax we pay, plus a 10% sourcing fee, capped at $40 per order. Every part and its price is listed on your estimate before we buy it, and we'll send a copy of the receipt if you ask.
Parts you supply. No fee for installing parts you supply. We check them before installing; if a part is defective, we'll tell you before going further. Returning or exchanging that part is between you and its seller. Our warranty covers our workmanship on parts you supply — the manufacturer's warranty covers defects in the part itself.
Windows licenses. Provide your own key, or we'll buy a genuine retail license for you at parts cost.
Removed parts. We hold removed parts for at least 72 hours. If you ask for one back, we ship it with your device at no charge.
IX. Shipping
Shipping to us. You pay to ship your device or parts to us, and your device is your responsibility while in transit to us. If you'd like, we can email you a prepaid shipping label at our discounted carrier rate, with no markup.
Shipping back to you. Insured, trackable ground shipping to any address in the contiguous United States is included in every price on this page.
Oversized devices. Full-tower cases, and any package over 40 lbs or longer than 26" on any side, add a $35 oversized return shipping charge.
Faster return shipping. Want two-day or overnight return shipping? We charge only the difference between that and ground shipping, at our cost.
Alaska, Hawaii & U.S. territories. We charge only the difference between contiguous-U.S. ground shipping and the actual cost to your address. We don't currently ship outside the United States.
Warranty claims. You pay to ship your device to us. If we confirm the claim is covered, we pay for all labor, parts, and return shipping. If it isn't covered and you decline a paid repair, the $69 diagnostic fee applies and includes return shipping.
Declined devices. If we decline your device after it arrives, we ship it back at our expense and refund your payment in full.
X. Other Fees and Optional Services
| Item | Details | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Data backup & restore (add-on) | Copying your files (up to 1 TB) before we work on your device, then restoring them afterward. Available only with another service. | $39 |
| Priority service | We start work the next business day after your device arrives, aiming to finish within 1 business day, parts permitting. | $39 |
| Oversized return shipping | See Shipping, above. | $35 |
| Prepaid shipping label to us (optional) | See Shipping, above. | Our cost |
| Faster return shipping (optional) | See Shipping, above. | Cost difference |
| Storage fee | Charged only if we can't deliver your completed device, beginning 30 days after our first attempt to contact you. | $50/week |
| Warranty service | Covered warranty claims: all labor, parts, and return shipping. You pay shipping to us. | Free |
XI. Services Not Listed
Email us at mantric2026@yahoo.com. We'll quote you a flat price in writing before you order, based on $65 per hour of estimated labor plus return shipping. Once you accept the quote, the price won't change unless we find something new and you approve the change.
XII. Cancellations and Refunds
Refunds follow Section XI of our Consumer User Agreement. In dollar terms:
XIII. Price Changes
We may change these prices from time to time. Each version of this document carries a version number and date, shown on its cover. A price change applies only to orders placed after its effective date. An order you already placed keeps the prices in the version you accepted when you placed it, as described in Section III of our Consumer User Agreement.
Document 3 of 3
This Privacy Policy explains how ManTric LLC ("ManTric," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website or place an order with us. It's part of the same set of documents as our Consumer User Agreement and Cost of Services document above.
This Privacy Policy explains how ManTric LLC ("ManTric," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website or place an order with us. It's part of the same set of documents as our Consumer User Agreement and Cost of Services document — words defined there mean the same thing here. You can reach us at mantric2026@yahoo.com or 1203 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, Indiana 47720.
When you place an order, we collect the information you give us directly: your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and a description of your device and the service you're asking for.
When your device arrives, we photograph its external condition and the internal components relevant to your order, before and after we perform work, as described in Section VII of our Consumer User Agreement. We do not photograph or review your personal files or on-screen content beyond what's needed to diagnose or complete your order.
If you submit a warranty claim for virus or malware removal, we may review your device's security logs and its program-installation and download history, only to confirm whether an issue is a returning or new infection, as described in Section X of that Agreement.
We use the information we collect to perform the service you ordered; to communicate with you about your order, including estimates, approvals, and shipping instructions; to process payment; to provide warranty service; and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
We share information only where it's needed to run our business:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
All payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your full card number — the processor handles that information under its own security standards. See Section V of our Consumer User Agreement for more on how payment works.
We keep intake and inspection photographs for the duration of the warranty period described in our Consumer User Agreement — 6 months from the date your device is delivered to you. We keep order records, including contact and payment information, for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes.
If we remove a part from your device that contains data, such as a hard drive, we securely erase it before disposal, as described in Section XIV of our Consumer User Agreement.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including limiting access to what's needed to do the job. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing mantric2026@yahoo.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time. Deleting some information may limit our ability to provide warranty service on a past order.
We do not currently use website analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this Policy.
Our services are not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18. Consistent with our Consumer User Agreement, you confirm you are 18 or older when you place an order.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Each version carries a version number and date, shown at the top of this page. An update applies going forward from its effective date. We encourage you to review this Policy whenever you place a new order.
